Scotty Tyce and Power Take Off (PTO) pulls together an eclectic mix of country, rock, and blues music from the rolling farm fields of southwestern Wisconsin. The positive, let’s have fun energy comes from familiar well-known Madison area musicians who started jamming together in 2019. Since then, the group has been joined by lead singer Scotty Tyce’s son, Ayden, as lead guitarist following in his dad’s Converse sneaks at just 15 years old.
PTO promises to deliver an unusual mix of songs you may find familiar from decades of past setlists, but there will be guaranteed surprises from rocked-up Ronnie Milsap, Don Williams, Georgia Satellites, John Denver, and Bruce Springsteen, plus many more songs that will stick with you like hair spray from the 80s.
The flip side of PTO is recording original music that is creative and catchy, with songs Keep Truckin’, Happy Anniversary, Cornfields at Midnight, and Yard Bull Blues that guarantees impromptu sing-alongs.
