Linell and Amanda met while serving at their local church in the suburbs of Chicago. Although they served at different campuses, events involving the entire church gave them opportunities to work together. They began dating and have now been married for almost seven years. Linell grew up in a musical family that valued serving in the local church, while Amanda started singing in her home church as a young child and continues to do so today at Door Creek Church as a key volunteer. Linell is the Worship Pastor at Door Creek Church and also leads a cover group called Lake Collective in Madison.
