Kelly is a local artist from Waunakee, WI. She grew up in Warrens, WI and music is in her bones.  She has been singing since she could talk, it’s as much a part of her as breathing air.

When a friend was asked to describe Kelly’s music he said, “Kelly has a calming voice with gravity that no matter whose ears it falls upon, it has a way of drawing them in and leaving them wanting more.” She appreciates many styles of music which is why you’ll find her covering songs ranging from Lauren Diagle, Katy Nichole, Carrie Underwood, to Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga and more.  Over the years she has also written a few originals.   You can find “Hope Remains” on music sources such as iTunes, Spotify, YouTube etc.  Weddings, church worship teams and special events was her main source of singing until she was diagnosed with an inner ear disease that caused severe hearing loss and tinnitus in her right ear.  After some time off to figure out how to balance sound again, she was invited by her friend, Mike Walmer, to do a live Christmas event.  Kelly had so much fun that she decided to pursue her live music adventure!  You can find her a lot of times teaming up with Mike around the Madison area at local venues.  In the years since doing live shows, Kelly has taught herself how to play both guitar and piano.  She is a novice player, but her passion for singing comes out in the first note she delivers.  Mike will be joining Kelly on stage along with their friend, Andy Naylor, on the drums.  You can follow more events on Kelly’s Facebook page, Kelly Roose Music.
