The JMB band is currently rehearsing and recording a new song for an upcoming video release for the summer of 2022.
Awards: Best Guitarist in the 2022 Madison Music Awards, as well as Best World Album for “Phase into Change”. With a long list of past awards: Winning both Madison and Minneapolis rounds for Guitar Center’s King of the Blues Contest and was the 2010 Madison Area Music Award winner for Best Guitarist, and many other song and vocal contest awards…

2013- Performed with the UW Varsity band (Director Mike Leckrone) for 3 nights in April at the Kohl Center Madison, WI
1999- Runner up in the Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition in Memphis, TN
1981-1983-Studio musician in New York, NY
1980- Signed to CBS Nemperor Records and recorded the Gregg Clemons album at Shade Tree Studios in Lake Geneva, WI
Noted as one of the top 3 guitarists to audition for Foghat in 1980
Auditioned for Rick Derringer (1977), The Rascals (1982), Foreigner- for lead vocalist) and many other New York bands…
Late 1970s- Punch /managed by Ken Adamany, toured Midwest, Texas, Oklahoma, St. Louis, Montana, Colorado, Nebraska, Illinois and Iowa.
Opened shows for: Kool And The Gang, Cheap Trick, The Tubes, John Couger Mellencamp, Headeast, Ted Nugent, Mountain (Leslie West) Rick Derringer, Foghat, Robin Trower, Savoy Brown, Blue Oyster Cult, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, KC and The Sunshine Band, America, Jackyl, Quiet Riot, and many others.
