Howard Gripp is a Wisconsin-based artist who has transitioned from a rock ‘n’ roll background to fully embrace the Christian Contemporary/Rock genre. Known for delivering strong, inspirational messages, Howard’s music is designed to touch souls and reassure listeners that they are not alone. Though new to the Christian music scene, Howard brings years of musical experience and a fresh perspective to his work. His listeners have praised his songs for their emotional depth, with comments such as, “My eyes and heart were misty,” “Very powerful! Your songs could save lives!” and “When I Pray has touched my life.”

Howard’s musical journey began at the age of six when he started playing the drums. By 16, he formed his first band, “Flight,” and began performing in bars, launching a career that included playing in rock bands and recording a CD titled Stinger with a Los Angeles record company. A transformative experience with Jesus inspired Howard to turn away from secular music and dedicate his talents to creating music that glorifies God and uplifts others.

Recording in Nashville with renowned producers, Howard released his debut EP, Rescued Redeemed Forgiven, in 2024. Featuring six powerful tracks, the EP addresses real-life challenges and encourages listeners to find strength and resilience through faith. The official music video for Hello It’s Me further amplifies the message of returning to faith and trusting in God’s grace.

In his emerging career, Howard has achieved remarkable recognition. He won Music Video of the Year for Hello It’s Me in three prestigious awards: X-Poze-Ing, Magic Silver Screen Films, and the Couch Film Festival. He earned the title of Christian Artist of the Month from the Rampage Music Awards and First Place in the Semi-Annual Elite Music Awards for his live performance with Erin Oakley. His EP also earned recognition in the Louder Than The Music Awards, finishing #6 for Album of the Year and #8 for Single of the Year. Howard placed in the Top 10 of the World Songwriting Awards three times, including 3rd place for both He Rescued Me and Father Help Me. Additionally, he was a Top 5 finalist in the You God’s Music competition, solidifying his growing impact in Christian music.

With a dedication to creating music that deeply resonates with listeners, Howard Gripp continues to inspire and touch lives through his powerful, faith-driven songs.
