Formed in 2006, out of Lake Mills Wisconsin, Pulse plays a very wide variety of classic and modern rock covers. The focus of their performance is in creating a musical experience that promotes dancing, partying and crowd interaction that is sure to get the blood pumping.
The Sundogs are a four-piece cover band based in Fitchburg, WI. We specialize in fun classic rock and pop-rock tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and yes, even the present. We're especially fond of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Cars, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eric Clapton, the Eagles, and other guitar-oriented bands of that era. We've been told by many of our enthusiastic fans, which range from college students to Baby Boomers, that we play "just the right stuff" from the Golden Age of rock. But a growing number of our songs are drawn from the past few years: Oasis, Green Day, Fastball, Semisonic.
2009 MAMA Finalist: Blues Album of the Year ' A Bolt from the Blue' 2008 MAMA Winner: Blues Song of the Year & Blues Artist of the Year
The Mud Angels are a blues rock band based in Madison, Wisconsin. With a name like the Mud Angels, you might think water is their main element, but fire is more likely -- their live performance has been described as "blazing", "incendiary" and "steamy" (Rick's Cafe, regional music magazine). The Mud Angels released their much anticipated debut album, a bolt from the blue in February 2008. Through two years performing the bluesy tunes of powerhouses like Susan Tedeschi, Sue Foley, Debbie Davies, Candye Kane and The Allman Brothers Band, the Mud Angels steadily added original songs to their set until an album shaped up. The record traverses many moods, from slow and sexy to urgent and rocking, and many topics, from sweet devotion and tasty summer fruit to soured love and bitter politics. Their debut album lands the Mud Angels solidly on blues-rock ground.
It's rare these days that a band carries a name as aptly as... THE NEW FUSE.
Let's disregard for the moment its nominal definition, which is an electronic device used in an electric circuit. Fuse, when used as a verb, is a unification - a blending of parts into a whole.
Building a musical partnership has been the band's aspiration since inception in 2004, as it should be. THE NEW FUSE carries this designation deliberately and without obscurity. The name alone is a testament to their integrity.
All rhetoric aside, seriously, what's in a name anyway? Who cares about names? What's in the music?
THE NEW FUSE's sound at present time is the result of the melting of musical backgrounds, educations, inspirations, influences and the distinctive personalities of Shane Davies, Brent Kimbrough and Chris Morrow.
This music is the product of the organic songwriting that ensues each time Davies & Kimbrough sit down to create with open mind and heart. Ideas are liquefied, merged and refined until eventually that product comes into being with thoughtful melody, harmony, and pulse.
Formed in the fall of 2007, bringing together the talent and ambitions of the Roman brothers, Adam and Alex.
The release of Jayme Dawicki's piano driven pop/rock gem "Shatter Queen" has resulted in much success since spring of 2008. 5 of the 10 songs have been used on MTV's "The Real World Hollywood and Brooklyn"along with Lifetime's "Mom's Cooking". Milwaukee native Jayme, along with her band, have toured across the country including Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Hollywood, Vegas, Denver, and Madison. PLUS they recently made their debut at SXSW 2009 for the Invasion of the GoGirls showcase! She has been featured on the cover of MKE's Summerfest (the "World's largest music fest") special along with performing at the festival for the past three summers. The disc was produced and engineered by Daniel Mendez (Dashboard Confessionals, Lit, Duran Duran, Heart, Meg and Dia) at Imperative Studios (Seattle, WA). In addition, she is teamed up with song manager Wayne Ledbetter (EGMINC) and GoDIY Records. In the past Jayme has opened for major label acts The Fray and Ferras. She also was awarded the 2006 WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Female Vocalist of the Year and is currently in the running for 2009 WAMI Album of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year!
"Taking notes from Weezer to Dinosaur Jr. to The Hold Steady and All-American Rejects, Sunspot's rock dares you not to sing along, play air guitar, and have a great time.
Neanderthal, their fourth album and newest release, is an exciting touchstone for the band. Whether it's singing along to the comic bitterness of "Eat Out My Heart" or pumping your fist along to the dark hooky beat of "Neanderthal", Sunspot has created a collection of songs that's non-stop, adrenaline-fueled fun to listen to."
20 Reasons Taken has been together since 2002... working hard at perfecting their craft and branching out to the masses. Sept 2004, saw the release of their first full-length album "Redefine the Sound." Today you can hear songs from this album on radio stations throughout the US and Canada.
Adam Isaac and the People is the concept of bassist, singer, songwriter Adam Isaac. The group consists of bassist/vocalist Adam Isaac, guitarist Joe Niesen, drummer Joey B. Banks, keyboardist Tim Whalen and Saxophonist Al Falaschi. The band began playing shows around the Midwest in 2006 and plan to record and releases their first album in the summer of 2007. Adam Isaac and the People perform mostly original funk, soul, and pop based music and covers Prince, The Meters, The Ohio Players, and Marvin Gaye. The goal of the band is to sign a big fat record deal, so if any of you A&R people like what you hear, SIGN US, PLEASE!!!!!! Please enjoy our music.
No visit to Northern Michigan is complete without catching a show by singer-songwriter Michelle Chenard. Chances are, if you’re visiting the area, you’ll happen upon this darling of northern Michigan's music scene. Then you can join in with the ardent and loyal fan base she’s already built, of people who are known to travel all over the area to see Michelle perform in swanky establishments and area festivals from Charleviox to Mackinac Island. ?This former Yooper (that's a person from the Upper Peninsula in Yooperese for you non-Michiganders) started her musical career as a teenager rocking the U.P. in several bands before her peripatetic yearnings drew her south. She entertained at Disney resorts and toured throughout the southern U.S. Several successful tours in Europe followed. Next, she touched down on the east coast, showcasing at such venerable establishments as CBGB's and The Stone Pony. ?After several years in the New York metro area, Michelle returned to her roots in Michigan. She became the driving force behind the popular duo Leavin' Dodge, releasing three CDs and opening for such acts as Collective Soul and Reba McIntyre. In 2002 she wrote and produced her first solo effort, "4", featuring the single "Ordinary Time", which received college and regional airplay as well as rave reviews from fans and press alike. ?Michelle's second solo effort, the album "39 Drops", was debuted in March 2005 to a packed house at a favorite Bay Harbor saloon. Featuring such memorable tunes as “My Magdaline”, “Perfect”, “Pass Over”, and the title track, fans and local reviewers alike once again praised Michelle’s talent, both at the mic and on the page, noting that all the songs are originals written by Michelle. "Live at the Pink Pony" was released in 2006. It’s an album she did with long time friend and another of Northern Michigan’s favorite artists, Pete Kehoe, and is a “mostly” fluid conversion of the live performances people are used to seeing from these two great performers. Michelle says “mostly” because the subtitle of the album is “flaws and all”. But as her rabid fans tell you, getting to hear all the songs that they’ve been shouting out from the back of the bar for years was a rare and special treat. Woven into an album of favorite covers is original material from both artists. Several projects are still in the works from this vibrant artist and friends, family, fans, and people who will someday be fans (you don’t know who you are yet, but you’re out there) all wait with bated breath.
Hailing from Brandon Florida just outside of Tampa, Damon first picked up the guitar at the age of 12. After being shown a few chords, it was apparent that he was a natural. While friends were listening to the music flavor of the month, Damon was digging into the Blues, and was soon playing small clubs in and around the Tampa Bay area. Years later with thousands of shows behind him, you've got one of the most unique and seasoned acts on the national circuit. Damon has been invited to many major festivals, and has graced the stage with the best in the business. He has three successful CD's under his belt, and is currently working on a fourth. His playing, writing, and vocal ability has brought him many accolades. including Creative Loafing magazines "Best Guitarist, Best Lap-Steel player, Best Do-Bro player, & Best Slide player", all rolled into one tight package. Damon has been touring the country since November 2004, and has built a dedicated fan base throughout. Current lineup is Damon on guitar and vocals, Chuck Riley on bass, and Scott Key on drums.

Plus guest artists Jessi Lynn, John Massino, Michael Alexander, Bobby D, Tim and Sharona (BobRocks), Paul Zander, Hitman and many others. Rock Fest at Brat Fest is an event within an event.
Los Brujos are a Madison funk rock project comprised of five members originally hailing from Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. With influences ranging from blues, soul, jazz, and reggae, Los Brujos concoct music with old-school roots but a distinctly modern sound to cure what ails you. Brian Bateman (bass) and Joe Cesarz (vocals, trumpet, rhythm guitar) had been playing together since 2006 before recruiting lead guitarist Michael Kelly and Detroit punk drummer Courtney Jarman in 2007. The band soon found their groove and have started performing at such local venues as The Brink Lounge, The Frequency, The Cardinal Bar, and Luckys.

The Soul Brothers was started by Mel and Mo shortly after they met in 1998. While every other position has changed many times, they've stuck together through the good and the bad and the merely tasteless.
Their stated goal was to create a powerful soul and blues band with superior musicianship all around, with opportunities for individuals as well as the group itself to show talent, while keeping the audience entertained at all times. After reaching world domination in early 2001, someone handed Mel a copy of "Lombardi, the Man, the Myth, the Legend to Bow Down and Pray to", and together they discovered that the only life worth living is a private, humble life, full of daily meditation and painful scourging.
The Mighty Short Bus has been compared to southern rock bands such as The Black Crowes, and Lynard Skynard, but that is only half of their sound… maybe less. The music goes a step further, infusing their would-be southern rock sound with the cold truth of a winter’s day, giving them a true Midwest Rock sound. Shows all over the Midwest have become the norm, and outward expansion of this ROGUE NATION is imminent.
The five piece rock band is made up of Ben Stitgen-drums, Rob Junceau-bass, Josh Smith-keys and backing vocals, Nic Adamany-lead guitar and vocals, and Frank Busch on lead vocals, and guitars.
Wild Heart is a five piece top 40 country band from Madison, Wisconsin. The band has been together for over 10 years playing at clubs and festivals all over Wisconsin. Wild Heart has shared the stage with many national acts over the years.
I Fight Dragons is Chicago's finest (and quite possibly only) NES-Rock band. They have very detailed delusions of grandeur, most of which include gross misuses of Nintendo products in combination with music in the Popular Rock genre. This February, they sold out Chicago's Elbo Room as they released their debut EP, "Cool Is Just A Number." They use a talking computer a lot, or possibly a talking computer uses them a lot. All in all, there are 6 of them, and at least one of them is really really cool, but they haven't figured out which one yet. It's Hari. A guy once told me that they periodically send $1000 checks to people who sign up for their mailing list, but that guy was a liar. Still, wouldn't you feel stupid if it turned out to be true and you didn't sign up? I would. "I FIGHT DRAGONS is a High-Def concert experience influenced by an 8-bit video game dream world. They are both an audio and visual powerhouse to have at the club"
BoB ROCKS is a South Central Wisconsin band based out
of the Madison/Mt. Horeb area. BoB ROCKS has been playing the area for more than 6 years, and has opened for such national acts as Vince
Neal and Firehouse.
BoB ROCKS plays a mixure of the 70's, 80's, 90's, and
todays music along with some country too!
BoB ROCKS high energy and vast variety of songs keep

and say...
ONE MORE SONG...ONE MORE SONG...ONE MORE SONG!

Her voice—clear, layered and insightful—echoes the reverence, tenderness, and power of a woman whose rich experiences and core beliefs permeate thoughtful lyrics. This unique voice is vital to her collection of diverse and inventive songs. Corinne Chapman grew up in the rural Twin Peaks community of the Southern California mountains with her parents and two brothers. Her mother says "In the crib, she rarely cried. She lifted her voice, making up her own little tunes." At eight began taking guitar and vocal lessons. In junior high, she joined a singing group and traveled throughout Southern California . In high school she was a member of many dance teams. Corinne served as a page for the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. She spent that summer living in France with a local family. These experiences taught her something about performance far beyond the stage: diplomacy. Her Stanford University advisor smiled and laughed when he announced that Corinne would be moving to Nashville to pursue a career in music. She had always remarked when asked why she majored in political science instead of music, "If you can tell me the difference between entertainers and politicians, I may consider a change." So she packed up her clothes and moved to Nashville. Over the past seven years, she has developed relationships with many well known, successful writers, musicians, and producers who have become friends and mentors. She has honed her live show in the clubs in and around town. Her co-write ‘Just Drive' was cut by Jo Dee Messina for her upcoming 2008 release. She also co-wrote "Wonderin'" which Shanna Lynn released as a single in Canada in May 2008. She recently participated in a television pilot for the "Secrets of the Heart - Songwriters in the Round" series. Corinne has written (or co-written) over 45 songs recorded with producer Russ Zavitson (Billy Ray Cyrus, The Wilkinsons, The Kinleys, Michelle Wright) over the past couple of years. She continues to work on her craft, knowing that she has a family of believers and the talent and wit to do it. She works to make her songs strong and intelligent, but most of all, "reflections of life, portals into the moment we crave and fear—visceral, cleansing, alive, and full of hope and love."
When Madison natives Brian Witt (guitar, vocals), Tom Innis (guitar vocals), Brian Mangan (bass, vocals) and Ron Hansen (drums) re-formed Whiplash in 2003, the musical platform was determined from two criteria: (1) Can you dance to it? and (2) Does it ROCK? Ask the band's loyal following, and they'll provide an emphatic "yes" to both. From AC/DC to ZZ Top, from Elvis to The Eagles, and Tom Petty to Poison, Whiplash defines "classic party rock with attitude" in the Madison music scene.
Playing music all her life and for the past two years being a full-time musician, Jessi Lynn is doing what she wants to do. Jessi Lynn has been nominated for seven Grammy's in 2002 for her CD Just Me & My Guitar and six Grammy's in 2006 for her CD You Ain't Seen Nothin' Like This. The Madison Area Music Awards has also awarded Jessi Lynn for 2006 Album of the Year for her third release, You Ain't Seen Nothin' Like This.
Milwaukee-based band 2nd Thought was recently given "props" by Cartoon Network for being some of "America's most talented kids." "What do you get when you take two brothers from Milwaukee and add three neighborhood buddies?" asks Cartoon Network's website ( http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/promos/props/ ). "You get 2nd Thought, a band of boys ranging from 12 to 15 years of age, most of whom have been playing music since kindergarten. Playing classic rock covers and originals, they've performed at the famed Milwaukee Summerfest and just recently book-ended a Goo Goo Dolls concert!"
Flame Shark has released two albums of their folk-inspired psychedelic rock music in the summer of 2006. The band has toured throughout Wisconsin receiving comments about their harmonizing ways.

Tuscan Road is a young, high energy band with everything to prove and nothing to lose. They are a crowd driven band and play many favorites such as Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and many more! Tuscan Road not only plays the music, but puts on an incredible show! Tuscan Road is made up of five talented musicians from all over the state of Wisconsin. We have played many places, and have even shared the stage with one of Country's biggest names. Mr. John Rich, of Big & Rich! Some of the other national acts include: Pat Green, The Randy Rodgers Band and Mr. "Picking Wild Flowers" himself, Keith Anderson. We also frequent two of the area's most popular Country Festivals, Hodag and Fuddfest.
Drawing from the slide guitar riffs of Ben Harper and John Butler, this four-piece delivers their innovative rock sound with "an insistent up-tempo back-beat, a funk-influenced bassist, and cool, whispered lyrics," as proclaimed by the Badger Herald. In front-men and founders Andy Sharp & Ryan Harkins, the SHB has formidable songwriters, guitar players, and vocalists able to deliver elements of rock, folk, and blues into their Indie style; Colin Schaeffer & Justin Barak provide the tight beats and grooves of the heart-pounding rhythm section. This year, the SHB was named the Best Folk/Americana Artist of the Year at the Madison Area Music Awards. Stay tuned--The band is set to release a brand new record in June!
The Shake Daddys blues band consists of Bill Roberts on lead guitar, Jimmy James on Keys, Dave Remits on Bass, Mark Munn on Drums, and Dan Schilling on blues harp, guitar and lead vocals. Between them the group ballyhoos 175 years of musical talent!
The Shake Daddys will be opening the new Brats n' Blues show with one of their "get up and shake it" blues performances and will host two additional hours of boogie as they share the Brats n' Blues stage with other talented blues artists.
Masino began playing both guitar and drums after his elder brother and dad taught him the lead guitar part to the Ventures' version of "Theme From Peter Gunn." Within a year, he and three chums were entertaining their Badger School classmates, John playing drums covered with blue fur on the Monkees and Tommy James favorites, his brother's big (to a small-for-his-age 10-year-old) white Gibson SG on the originals. He took to falling asleep with the instrument in his hands after annoying his mom and siblings by playing implacably through their favorite TV shows. He'd walk around for hours playing scales of his own device, or blues riffs. He mastered key licks by all the usual suspects — the lapsed Yardbirds trinity (Clapton, Beck and Page) and Hendrix — and got good quick. But he listened to, and learned to play, other stuff too. John was most recently a member of Clear Blue Betty, a legendary Madison rock group. With CBB, John has connected with a a few of his very talented friends to form the John Masino band. The John Masino Band is based out of Madison Wisconsin featuring John Masino, Mike Ripp, Curt Schreiner and Scott Aumann.
Dan Schilling of the Shake Daddys has hosted over 325 consecutive blues jams in Madison, included the renowned weekly Blues n' Brews show at Murphy's on East Washington every Friday night. Dan was asked to be the host of the new Brats n’ Blues show at Brat Fest and will be bringing in talented blues artists to perform for you on Sunday at 5:10.
Looking for an exciting, action packed show to book for your venue? Look no further. This 8-piece Country Show Band based out of Southern Wisconsin, and voted as “Madison’s Favorite Local Group of the Year” for the past nine years, will impress you...to say the least!
Winning the Favorite Group title at the Q106 MCMA Awards Shows from 2000 through 2008, as well as "Best Country Artist" at the 2004 & 2005 MAMA Awards Show, along with taking 3 honors out of the WAMI Awards in 2005, and winning the People's Choice Award in all genres 2004 thru 2008, this band has added quite an array of eminence for all of their talents.
This high energy, very versatile band has six vocal parts, and just about every instrument needed in the country market (fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, steel guitar, dobro, banjo, lap steel, B-bender lead guitar, piano, and acoustic guitar). They change their sound immensely throughout the show, so that you will be entertained and not just hear the same four instruments all night long. Going from styles like Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, and Tim McGraw, to acoustic duos to acapella songs to musical skits, this band is extremely entertaining.

2009 MAMA Finalist: Pop Performer of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Pop Song of the Year 'Paper Sky' & Pop Album of the Year 'Paper Sky'
Based out of Madison, WI, Gladstone is a fresh band of 5 musicians whose paths have been intertwined in one way or another for over a decade. Gladstone's Adult Alternative/Contemporary Rock sound has evolved over time from their early years, when they were named "Photopsia". When they enjoyed regional success as Photopsia, the sound was firmly rooted in complex, textured songs with open, experimental songwriting. Today, Gladstone's songs give a mainstream, radio-friendly voice to the earth, the sky, time, love, and life. Lyrical topics filled with images of nature, struggle, endurance, memories, and home reach out to anyone in the human experience. Gladstone's sound is a unique hybrid of John Mayer, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Vertical Horizon. The new songs on Paper Sky are well-crafted with addictive melodies and strong vocals. Tight bass-lines and percussion are layered behind rich tones of guitars and keys. With a broad appeal to contemporary rock fans of all ages, the future is bright for this up and coming Madison band.
A veritable boilermaker of Rock, Rhythm, and Cool, with just a shot of Jazz. Highlighted by the velvety smooth vocals of the lovely and adorable Lynda Higgins, The LeeDing Zeros combine a wide range of musical influences to create their signature sound. The driving funkability of the "Two Greg" rhythm section provides the musical road on which Rich "The Kilt Man" Stanek (guitars) and Doctor Jim (Sax) stylishly weave their way through traffic. Their recently released CD "Ear Candy" has achieved critical acclaim as well as airplay on 105.5 Triple M (Thanks Gabby!) So buckle your seat belts and hang on...BE A ZERO!
Vibe Syndicate is a huge original funk and R&B band from Madison, Wisconsin. Nominatde "Best R&B Band" by the Madison Area Music Awards 2004, Vibe Syndicate performs original songs and arrangements that deliver an infectious groove.
Our songs combine elements of old school funk with modern R&B.
Mark Croft performs original acoustic pop/rock music. A Wisconsin native, Croft writes songs about everything from finding love to finding your purpose in life. Although a newcomer to the Madison music scene he has been creating quite a buzz in the last six months. His upbeat grooves and catchy melodies have leaves your toes' tapping long after his performance is over.
The Charles Walker Band is a five piece band that performs various styles of blues and R&B with precision and energy. What adds to the band uniqueness, apart from award winning musicians (together for 3 years), is the richness of both the original and cover (BB King, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Muddy Waters) material. As one critic said, "Real edge of your seat, power wire blues." A quote from the "Livin Blues" magazine describes us best, "...so much energy, you can't resist but fall in love with every song. You're drawn in and held for show after show with Charles band."
Lube is a five-piece band based out of Madison, Wisconsin that plays current, classic and original rock. Lube formed in the summer of 1999 originally as a basement band. Over the last six years Lube has moved from the basement to playing South-Central Wisconsin's top clubs and continues to grow with the addition of guitarist Jeff Hermans in 2005. Lube's live shows are a high energy affair designed to get people moving. They keep the music flowing constantly, barely coming up for air, keeping the in-between-song banter to a minimum and letting the music do the talking! Lube has performed on the same bill with several national touring acts such as: Vince Neil, Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms, Seven Mary Three, Sponge, Slur, Spineshank, Endo and Speak No Evil.
